WYNWOOD SOWY MURALS
MORE DEVELOPMENT
Ahhh, Miami. My hometown. What a treat this project was, especially getting to collaborate with two long time friends Krave and Tubs. The More Development Group decided to create a unifying mural theme for a series of buildings in the SOWY district of South Wynwood. In order to bring a lot of joyful color to the space, we decided on a combination of Florida wildlife with a geometric funky twist.
Working with the space, we wanted to create a few different scenes with their own subject as well as background that would seamlessly flow into the next adjacent wall. We chose animals that may be not your typical big hero animals. I was really stoked to get to do one of my chameleons and the Florida panther.
Krave was the bird wrangler, creating the flamingo and parrot walls, and I was the frog handler, creating the tree frog composition. Tubs did his geometric work in areas along the edges of the composition to create a unique juxtaposition.
Overall I was really happy with the end result of all the walls and It was a really cool collaboration.
