OZZY’S APIZZA

Chris Wallace is the best! He’s super cool and a great pizza chef. When he contacted me to paint their first location, I was like, weren’t you just on One Bite Pizza Reviews?! It turns out he was really starting to blow up because of it and could now open his first brick and mortar.

One caveat about this project I need to mention up front. This is not my original artwork. The illustration is made by @RamoneSketch . He doesn’t live in LA and for him to travel to paint the wall would not have been possible.

So I stepped up to the plate with an awesome piece of artwork and did my very best to execute it correctly. Luckily it was super metal and I was really into it. In order to make the sketch fit the wall better, I came up with the lightning background. I thought it was pretty metal and worked well to frame the space.

In addition to the large wall, I was asked to fill up other areas in the space with some lettering and other ideas. I especially like the mohawk Ozzy character by the kitchen.
