I have a true appreciation for projects like this one. I was asked to create a hand-painted photo backdrop for the premiere afterparty of The Boys : Gen V Season 2 on Amazon Prime. I am a huge fan of the show, so of course I jumped at the opportunity to create the wall, which just so happened to be a graffiti aesthetic.

Without giving anything in the show away, there were some easter eggs the client had asked me to include as smaller ideas, for the cast and fans to find. We used a combination of adhesive vinyl, spray painted stencils, hand painted graffiti tags, lettering and textures.

I’m really proud of my team, we executed the mockup to a perfect outcome, and the wall was a huge hit at the star studded event.

I just love how something as simple as a photo backdrop, created artistically, can really stand out as a special experience.
