A really cool project working with the Bard Boys Dispensary in Oxnard, CA. A really specific ask, but something I felt I could do well. Black and white girl face, roses, and some elements of Oxnard, with the Bard St. street sign.
I like sometimes using a limited color palette, it’s a fun challenge. Of course using greyscale is always fun when It comes to doing portraits. I was going for kind of a tattoo vibe with the whole concept. Since it’s a dispensary, of course they wanted a lot of branding, and I did quite a few logos for this job. All hand done, no stencil.
I love to challenge myself to do things by hand whenever I can. All of the work was created using spray paint. Except the red bard boys logo that looks like Supreme. That was done with brush.
