Art Basel 2023

Back to Miami! This time for a super fast mural opportunity, also with the More Development Group.

I was thrilled to have a full wall to do whatever I wanted. I had been working on this idea based on the Grateful Dead song - “Scarlett Begonias” I wanted a wall I could really let loose. with color and have a lot of fun. I had only about 6 days to work on this project so I had to hit it hard and get it done. That meant really nailing her face first and then going absolutely crazy on her hair and flowers. The best part is there is kind of no wrong answers here.

I really love how beautiful the whole wall came out, it was incredible to see it all completed. And of course being back in my hometown was a really great time. I always love painting in Wynwood and I am super stoked to be a part of the Wynwood experience.
